We are a valued tier 1 supplier to Rolls- Royce Aerospace; I have worked with AIM Professional Services for over ten years. In that time I was coached and advised on the planning and implementation of some major changes to the business. This included the acquisition and integration of a small company that we bought which added value to our aerospace business; also the introduction of the team leader concept and structure to the business.
AIM also advised on, and planned, factory layouts and systems integration, along with a major new stores facility which they project managed from initial planning to full implementation.
AIM worked with and coached some of my senior management team – particularly in relation to new systems requirements. Their advice and coaching skills in the execution of many projects over recent years have successfully contributed to improvements in our operating efficiencies.
AIM personnel have excellent communication skills, are highly experienced, and have brought innovative solutions into the business. Their coaching style is empathetic and enthusiastic.
AIM Professional Services have worked directly with my company for fifteen years. During this period I have been coached in developing a new strategic thinking for my business.
We are an important supplier to JCB and AIM has introduced and led a culture change and implementation of a new strategic direction resulting in improved operating performance and the development of new markets for the business.
Their advice, positive attitude and hands-on approach have contributed immensely to the improvement in operating processes and profitability of the business; and have underpinned the growth we are currently experiencing.
They have a wide experience of working with SMEs and are always able to provide an innovative solution to a problem. They are easy to work with and great communicators.
Nasmyth Group is a growing manufacturing business in the global aerospace supply chain. The business serves many of the prime manufacturers, including Rolls-Royce, GE, Airbus and Boeing. The demands placed on the supply base are very onerous, with quality, delivery, best cost and responsiveness a basic requirement. This environment places emphasis of the capabilities of all levels in the business, in particular the need to instil this culture & focus on performance to provide clear direction and demonstrate leadership.
Nasmyth engaged with AIM Professional Service in 2017 to develop a management programme in two of its businesses in Coventry and Hinckley. The objective being to instil management practices that focussed on driving performance and behavioural / leadership skills.
It was important that the programme would have a positive effect on the working climate and that it would engender a team identity and spirit.
The AIM (ILM accredited) leadership and management programme was ideally suited for business needs; it was delivered on site with the minimum disruption to the working day. The course was a blend of theory and application, facilitated by experienced mentors / coaches, the latter being the completion of a project delivering business benefits to the organisation.
Perhaps the most significant outcome was the palpable comradery exhibited by the team towards the end of the programme. The business has seen very positive results in the delivery of its commitments to customers and the development of a performance led culture.
